Our Compassionate Services

Samovila Foundation is a mid-sized home for senior and handicapped community cats and dogs, with a carefully limited capacity of 75 resident animals to ensure their safety, medical care, and comfort. We prioritise using donations for the daily care of our residents rather than expansion. Our primary responsibility remains the long-term wellbeing of the animals in our care. We foster and treat local animals in Palghar who can be rehabilitated and released, and we support rescuers and caregivers in Mumbai with funds for food, sterilisation, and foster care whenever possible. Since 2019, we have fostered and treated over 70 animals from Palghar, with 15 of them becoming permanent residents when they could not safely return to the streets.

We provide comprehensive care for animals in need, from emergency rescue to rehabilitation and finding forever homes.
